SONE (Sud-Ouest, Nord-Est) ist eine geographische und gewiss imaginäre Diagonale, eine Achse von Süd-West nach Nord-Ost durch die Mitte Europas. Entlang dieser Diagonale bilden Theaterhäuser und Kompanien ein künstlerisches Netzwerk, dessen Hauptanliegen die kreative Auseinandersetzung mit dem visuellen Theater, dem Figuren- und Objekttheater ist.

SONE schafft Raum für Austausch (Festivals), Reflektion (Symposien) und Produktion (internationale Koproduktionen) in europäischer Dimension. Ziel ist, den interkulturellen Dialog zwischen den Theatern, Künstlern und dem Publikum anzuregen und die europäische Identität in ihrer Vielfalt zu thematisieren. Gleichzeitig ist SONE der Versuch, dieser Identität eine schöpferische Gestalt zu geben.

SONE ist ein Kooperations-Projekt der SCHAUBUDE BERLIN (Berlin) mit Stowarzyszenie Promocji Artystycznej / Kompania Doomsday (Bialystok), Figurentheater LILARUM (Wien) und Lindenfels Westflügel (Leipzig).

SONE (z fr. Sud-Ouest, Nord-Est) to geograficzna przekątna, wyobrażenie  osi, która biegnie z południowego zachodu na północny wschód,  przecinając Europę. Na tej osi zawiązała się współpraca między teatrami i grupami artystycznymi. Współpraca ta ma na celu refleksję nad współczesnymi kierunkami rozwoju teatru wizualnego i teatru ożywionej formy.

SONE est un projet de coopération entre la SCHAUBUDE BERLIN, le théâtre Lindenfels Westflügel, Leipzig, l’association Stowarzyszenie Promocji Artystycznej / Kompania Doomsday, Bialystok et le théâtre Lilarum, Vienne.

SONE (Sud-Ouest/Nord-Est) est une ligne géographique au tracé imaginaire, un axe Sud-Ouest/ Nord-Est passant par le centre de l’Europe. Le long de cette diagonale, des théâtres et des compagnies de théâtre se sont réunis pour créer un réseau artistique dont l’ambition est de mener une réflexion sur le théâtre visuel, le théâtre de marionnettes contemporain et le théâtre d’objets.

SONE se définit comme un espace d’échanges (Festivals), de recherche (Symposium) et de création (coproductions internationales) à l’échelle européenne. L’enjeu est d’initier un dialogue interculturel entre théâtres, artistes et public et de mettre en évidence l’identité européenne dans sa diversité. SONE est en même temps une tentative de donner un contenu créatif à cette identité.

SONE is a cooperation project between the SCHAUBUDE BERLIN, the theatre Lindenfels Westflügel, Leipzig, the association Stowarzyszenie Promocji Artystycznej / Kompania Doomsday, Bialystok and the theatre Lilarum. Vienna.

SONE (Sud-Ouest/Nord-Est) is a geographic as well as an imaginary line, a South-West/North-East axis crossing the middle of Europa. Along this diagonale, theatres and theatre companies have joined together to create an artistic network aiming to pursue a reflexion about new tendencies in visual theater, contemporary puppetry and object theater.

SONE defines itself as a space for exchange (Festivals), for research (Symposium) and for creation (international coproductions) in a European context. The purpose is to initiate an intercultural dialogue between theatres, artists and the audience, thus showing the plurality of the european identity. SONE is at the same time an attempt to give this identity a creative form.
